My 3" & 6" tiles are done in a Maiolica technique. I glaze the tile, and when the glaze is dry I apply wet stain with a water color brush. Because stains are somewhat transparent you will see layering of colors and brushstrokes in the finished tile. The designs will vary from tile to tile, but the color of a particular stain will remain constant. Each tile is fully cork backed and signed.
These tiles are suitable for wall and table application - NOT for floors. Please contact me for special pricing if you are interested in ordering more than a few tiles, without cork backing, for accenting your special project.
